What is measured on this site?
Short answer: anonymous page-level statistics, nothing else. The long answer is below.
What is collected
The address of the page visited, the link that led here, country, browser and operating system type, device category and screen width. These are stored as aggregate counts.
What is not collected
No cookies are written. No IP address is stored. No fingerprint is derived. Visitors are not identified as individuals, are not tracked across sessions, and no advertising profile is built.
Where the data lives
Measurement runs on Umami, open-source software hosted on this site’s own server, and the data stays there. It is not shared with ad networks, data brokers or analytics vendors.
Why it is measured
To understand which work draws interest, where visitors arrive from, and how much the English content is actually needed. The goal is better content, not knowing who you are.
Third parties
The contact form runs through Web3Forms, which relays the message as email; anything typed into the form reaches that service. Site traffic also passes through Cloudflare, which keeps connection-level records for its own security and performance purposes. Fonts and images are served with the site rather than fetched from elsewhere.
Opting out
The simplest way: open yusuff.dev/?umami=off — measurement is then switched off on that device and stays off. To turn it back on, visit yusuff.dev/?umami=on. Any tracker blocker also stops it, and the site works fully with one enabled.
Retention
Aggregate statistics are kept for at most 24 months; anything older is deleted.
